When adding links to material on an external site, please ensure that the external site is not violating the creator's copyright. Linking to websites that display copyrighted works is acceptable as long as the website's operator has created or licensed the work. Knowingly directing others to a site that violates copyright may be considered contributory infringement. This is particularly relevant when linking to sites such as YouTube, where due care should be taken to avoid linking to material that violates its creator's copyright. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. 69.181.249.92 (talk) 20:04, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The links you are adding to the rollingtimes.org sites are all links to copyright violations. These aren't permitted.—Kww(talk) 00:49, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, was acting in good faith by mostly replacing old links to the Rolling Stones website that were dead and adding ones that did not exist. What I have noticed is that a lot of information on the songs is uncredited. Is it contributory infringement to cite rollingtimes? Pftodd(talk) 12:03 5 May 2012 BST

I figured you were acting in good faith, which is why there weren't a bunch of brightly colored warning signs and templates in my message. I don't think rollingtimes.org meets our definition of a reliable source.—Kww(talk) 12:48, 5 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
