More seriously, it actually is a good idea, though I wasn't brave enough to think it might be put into practice. As you write on your user page, Wikipedia truly should be a place for happy people. It takes real courage to actually use it, and be nice to someone who is very likely not to feel nice back at the moment. Worthwhile.
