Trixta[edit]

Born in Hammersmith West London, Trixta was raised by his mother who at the time wanted better for herself & son. The decision was made; the two relocated settling in a town called Croydon. This was to be the making of a true entertainer.

Coming from a musical background, it was no coincidence that the young Trixta would follow the foot prints set by his family members, by displaying an intense passion for music. Whilst other kids played on their computer consoles, Trixta spent the majority of his time learning new dance moves & showcasing his talent at family functions. At age 7, the youngster was keen to learn the skills of mixing & scratching using twin turntables. Trixta was taught by his step father how to DJ and would often record his performances on audio cassette.

The UK Drum ‘n’ Bass scene of the mid 90’s played a major role in Trixta’s life. Strongly influenced by the top MC’s of the time, it inspired a creative release which motivated Trixta to write his own lyrics. Soon enough Trixta was appearing on pirate radio stations & embracing every opportunity granted. Trixta was later asked to join a newly formed group who called themselves The Lyrikal Assassins. The Lyrikal Assassins began performing at local raves & talent competitions. In return, this created a strong reputation for the new crew in town. Being a part of The Lyrikal Assassins taught Trixta the importance of stage performance & also allowed his ability as a writer to grow. Filled with confidence & determination Trixta recreated himself as a solo artist. As time went on Trixta began to show a strong interest in the music industry often wondering what it took for a recording artist to obtain a record deal from one of the major record companies. Having teamed up with two music producers (Dean Anthoni & Vex Music) the trio put their creative minds together & began working on new material. It was from this point that the dream of becoming a recording artist began to develop into something more, this resulted in the birth of Plantinum Vybes Entertainment. Signed to his own, Trixta released his first solo project which included the ever so popular singles ‘Trik-Dee-Zie’ & I Miss U. Both left a long lasting impression on the music scene & even managed to feature on mainstream radio. As well as having the commercial appeal, Trixta’s music also displayed a positive conscious vibe; this is evident whilst listening to ‘The Message’ ‘The Message’ was considered by fans as “a powerful, soulful song with solid lyrics.”

At present Trixta is currently working on new material with a fresh and funky sound inclined by the Hip-Hop culture. This is demonstrated in the next single release ‘Wait For Me’. Already being compared with the likes of Tinchy Stryder and N-DUBZ, ‘Wait For Me’ has a youthful sound and is aimed straight for the dance floor. It will defiantly be a song worth adding to your playlist. So don’t miss out, show your support and look out for the single COMING SOON!
