Dry July

[edit]

Firstly it's recommended that you don't write an article about an organisation you are involved in or associated with. See Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. It would be better if you waited for someone who doesn't work for this charity to write a page on it. Wikipedia isn't here to promote a charity, no matter how worthy the cause. Secondly the subject of a Wikipedia article needs to satisfy the notability guidelines, the one relevant to charities is Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies). If this particular charity doesn't meet these guidelines then any article on it will probably be deleted one way or another. Finally the version you wrote was copied from promotional material, so I deleted it as a copyright violation.

Right now there is nothing stopping you from recreating this page. If you can write another page which doesn't promote the charity, provides evidence that the charity meets the notability guideline linked to above and doesn't have any copyright problems then it probably won't be deleted. There is a list of criteria which allow administrators to summarily delete a page, you can read it here.

Below is the standard welcome notice given to new users, the links may be helpful.
