- Thanks a bunch. However, I'm not by any means new to wikis. I'm an extremely active contributor on Bulbapedia, the Pokémon wiki, so I already know 'bout link templates, etc. --Politoed666 (talk) 20:14, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
- If you nominate an article for speedy deletion, as you did at Rock Band Track Pack Vol. 2 you need to give a reason. Ros0709 (talk) 21:57, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
- Why? Isn't the reason self-evident? --Politoed666 (talk) 21:58, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
- Evidently not if you could not find a suitable speedy tag. More seriously, see WP:CSD; the tag you used requires a reason to be given to justify placing it, you cannot just go tagging things you don't like. Not all reasons an article may be deleted allow speedy deletion, eg an article about an unremarkable band can be speedily deleted but one about an unremarkable album can not. This is aparrently an unremarkable album so does not qualify for speedy deletion. Fortunately the author omitted to provide any context so I have retagged the article accordingly but there is no guarantee it will get deleted for that reason. Levett-Yeats
[edit]Hello, I understand you were trying to be helpful, but could you kindly wait for at least a few minutes before starting to edit this piece while I work out final touches, link to the Levett page, etc.? Thank you.MarmadukePercy (talk) 21:25, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
- First off, I'm not a n00b. I'm an administrator, bureaucrat, and editorial board member on Bulbapedia, another wiki. So I do know what I'm doing. If there's a problem with a page that's initially evident, a user has a responsibility to fix it, regardless of whether or not there's a chance someone else will. --Politoed666 (talk) 21:49, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
