Hello there! While I appreciate your pride in your work, Wikipedia is a collaborative effort with the aim of producing a well turned out resource, so contributors don't sign the bits they've done: there's no need to, the history tab lets anyone see who's done what. Because of this, someone reverted your changes to the Greenock page - some people do an enormous amount of good work removing vandalism, and don't always have time to go into detail. I did have a look at your changes, and mostly they're not supported by the information on the linked articles: if you want to add something, check it as much as you can first. If the other articles are wrong or lacking, first make sure you have a good source confirming your version (see WP:NOR) then improve those articles, giving references.

Your point about Galt founding Guelph, Ontario seemed good to me, so I've added that in. Hope you can develop your interest in helping with the work, orrabest from dave souza, talk 09:55, 13 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
