Now you have been welcomed[edit]

I want to explain why I have removed the redlink to Sir Arthur Hilton Poynton GCMG from the artickle List of Old Marlburians.

A list such as List of Old Marlburians is intended to refer to people who have already got Wikipedia articles written about them. I presume from your user name that you are related to Sir Arthur Hilton Poynton GCMG and are proud of his achievments. Putting a red link on a list is actually not a good idea as it gives the impression that he is unworthy of a full article in Wikipedia. May I suggest that you write an article about him first and then link to that article. As a hint, the article should probably titled something like Arthur Poynton (civil servant) or Arthur Hilton Poynton, leaving out his title. The details of his decorations and honours can be included as part of the article. Please consider this as friendly advice not criticism. Good luck with editing in Wikipedia.
