Question on Needle Size Conversions, European to US

[edit]

Hello, Europeans have different ways of explaining knitting "symbology" and terms, and writing numbers, than is used in North America. So, the "2,5-3" on your yarn label means 2.5 to 3 mm needles. Think of the comma as a decimal. The size of needles you should use, to knit this yarn, can be either 2.5, 2.75, or 3mm, depending on whether you knit loosely, or tightly, and on how loosely, or tightly, knit you want your finished garment. That's up to you. I would do a swatch with each size needle to see what suits the yarn, and you, the best. Let me know, on my talk page, if you have any other knitting questions.
