Corleone[edit]

Hi, about the Corleonesi, as you can read in the article that term is generally restricted to the Leggio-Riina-Provenzano clan and its associates who do not have to come from Corleone necessarily. I agree that is uncommon, but that is how it turned because their powerful influence in Cosa Nostra in the 1980s and 1990s. There were and maybe still are other Mafia clans in Corleone that don't belong to the Corleonesi. In other words it would not be correct to say that "the Corleonesi" are simply the mafiosi from Corleone, certainly not in the days when Ciancimino was born. Vito Andolini Corleone is the character from the Godfather, so I guess that has to be removed from the intro in the article, and put somewhere in the trivia section.
