Realms of Adventure
[edit]Hi, I've nominated Realms of Adventure for deletion. I've got all the best wishes for larp groups, but they do need to follow the rules of Wikipedia like everyone else. You can have your say at the deletion discussion if you like. I've written an article about larp and Wikipedia that might be of interest to you, it can be accessed here. Thanks, Ryan Paddy (talk) 23:21, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
- I'm not sure what else you are asking for to be added to the page. Many other LARP groups appear on wiki pages with many less references to third party sources and don't appear to be so vigorously marked for deletion.
- What you need to demonstrate notability is some proof that a mainstream media outlet has thought your group is important enough to dedicate coverage to it. Could be a newspaper, magazine, book, academic journal, whatever. Being listed in a hobby source usually isn't enough. As for other groups that don't demonstrate notability, they are often culled and it's likely that they will be gone before long too, unless there's some reason to expect that evidence of notability will be produced. - For example, One World By Night has been deleted because of lack of evidence of notability. So if the article is deleted, it's not in bad company. Ryan Paddy (talk) 09:15, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
