I also have a problem with the same statement because the CO2 has greatly increased since 1998 and the warming has essentially ceased. That means that the numbers in the chart below are totally at odds with that very statement, since a great increase in the CO2 since 1998 has caused no additional warming, the entire theory seems in jeopardy.
