County
[edit]I need a bit of a clarification on "[[hrabstwo <COUNTY>|". By "<COUNTY>", I meant the full legal name, such as "Lancaster County", not "Lancaster". I don't know what "hrabstwo" means, but is it another term for "County"? If so, you'll need to give me translations for the cases where "County" is replaced by other terms: "Parish" in Louisiana and "Borough" in Alaska. — Ram-Man (comment) (talk) 12:59, Jun 21, 2005 (UTC)
- Hrabstwo is another term for county. I've included translations for Alaskan boroughs (powiat) and Louisiana parishes (parafia) as well. Ausir 16:26, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Table
[edit]When the time comes, I'm sure I'll need lots of help with the translation, but the table is great for now. You don't need to come up with a final template, because the english one is not completed yet! It will probably change with the addition of more special cases. Also, I don't really recommend using templates to generate segments of text. They are not very user friendly in article bodies, not to mention very inflexible when it comes to variants, of which there are more to come. — Ram-Man (comment) (talk) 13:17, Jun 21, 2005 (UTC)
Terms
[edit]By the way, many of these are just more or less accurate translations of the definition, and I'm not sure whether all of them are accurate. I e-mailed the Council of the Polish Language to see if they have any official names for those. Ausir 18:30, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)
