Hi, sorry for not replying to your request earlier but I've been busy with work. I see you have reconsidered some things.

If you want I can point you to resources and maybe comment further on your new work page. (If we both try hard I'm sure we can both keep the confrontational tone out of things.) If you don't want, I'll say nothing.

I think it is important for you to realize that you made some worthy contributions. Your suggestion for archiving and reorganizing (or "refactoring" as it is called at WP:TALK) the talk page) was great. I hope the new organization will help highlight work to be done and thereby attract more contributions to the page. Also you highlighted the need for a more clear, and better referenced, history of the names and the technology.

I'll look here for replies. Jeh (talk) 03:31, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, oops. I should have put this on your main user talk page. Instead I have inadvertently created a new talk page under your Ramu50/IDE work page. Well, this isn't a terrible thing, maybe it's actually better. But if you want this page gone you can just delete the contents and put a request for deletion template at the top, such as {{deletebecause|reason}}

For example,

{{deletebecause|Talk page of private work page, created by mistake}}

And when you're done with the work page you can have it deleted similarly:

{{deletebecause|Private work page, no longer needed}}

Anyway, back to the original point - if you are interested I'll try to respond to your request for suggestions. Incidently the two best tech forums on the web are at www.arstechnica.com and www.storagereview.com . Questions in the forums there (registration required, but it's free) will usually give accurate answers. Jeh (talk) 03:41, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
