Article assessment and improvements

[edit]

Hi, Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment has guidelines on what is required to reach a given level. Your best bet is to find a WikiProject that covers the topics you're interested in contributing to and ask for guidance from them as they'll be at least somewhat familiar with the subject. For PCI DSS I thought Wikipedia:WikiProject Business was appropriate, but Wikipedia:WikiProject Computer Security probably is as well. A page can come under multiple WikiProjects so don't be afraid to ask for help on different aspects in different places.

Comodo

[edit]

Hi, Random Name. I see that you have put a bunch of 'citation needed' tags up on the Comodo page. Most of them are completely justified. I will work on adding them in; would appreciate your patience. Katharine908 (talk) 19:28, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, again, Random Name, thanks for moving my comments to the appropriate page....One of these days I'll get it right.Katharine908 (talk) 17:13, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Random Name. I hope you will visit the Melih Abdulhayoglu article sometime soon. I have some new citations about Melih, or at least quoting him, from notable publications such as ArabNews and BusinessWeek. If you agree that they are notable enough, would you mind telling me what I can do to request that the flags be removed? Katharine908 (talk) 21:00, 10 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Huh...

Deep Purple

[edit]

No problem. Deep Purple are actually by favorite band of all-time and they are definately a metal band. RG (talk) 04:02, 9 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re: thrash metal

[edit]

From now on, do as you wish on that page. I have removed the thrash metal page from my watchlist, and will try to refrain from participating in its upkeep any more. For one thing, I am sick of all the crappy edits done by IP editors on that page. Have a nice day --L1A1 FAL (talk) 17:15, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
