"Maya cave sites attracted robbers and invaders during the war, so the entrances to some of them were walled up (James Brady as examples leads immured caves of Dos Pilas and Naj Tunich)."

I couldn't seem to find what specific war this was referring to. Also, not sure what the writing in brackets is trying to express _Rbhusari (talk) 21:28, 2 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

"The total number of Maya caves located in the Puuc region of Yucatan is more than 2000, most of which are not open."

I couldn't find the source that mentions that the majority of the caves were closed. _Rbhusari (talk) 22:07, 2 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

In Mayan written language, this sign is part of the verb "OCH-WITZ" ("Go inside the Mountain").[8]

Not sure how the ending consonant "N" is related to the verb. Further clarification required. _Rbhusari (talk) 23:09, 2 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
