Yes, that's my own web site, copyright me. And shouldn't that read 'alleged copyright violation', or is guilt assumed until proven otherwise? Sorry that you feel a bit disappointed by this process and red tape, but Wikipedia has some strict guidelines in order to ensure compliance with the GNU Free Documentation License; unfortunately, this is necessary for legal reasons. As a note, "contact" is generally understood, within the context of Wikipedia, to mean the user talk page (not everyone wants to be or can be contacted by email), and it appears that this was done. A note for readers. I've updated the web page from which I originally copied, to indicate what happened to the article. It appears that I should log into Wikipedia at least every seven days to make sure I'm not being accused of anything. Life is too short. I appreciate the legal problems, but email is the solution, if one is not to live inside Wikipedia. OK, so I make a case for undeletion. Then people (which people?) vote on it. Then it gets undeleted and I can then edit it to justify the copyright issue. Seems like a lot of work for a deletion of something I did in good faith. What bothers me is that I have to keep logging in to find out if anything else has offended someone, or it gets deleted again. I really don't see what's wrong with email, and this 'general understanding, in the context of Wikipedia' that all contact is via the talk page, just doesn't work unless you live inside Wikipedia. rde42 14:31, 16 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
