User Page

Hi, No sorry you cant. They are Non-Free content. The only images that you can use wherever you want are images that you have taken yourself or images that somebody has taken and released without copyright. For example if you take a picture of somebody, you can use that picture wherever you want. Album covers are copyrighted so you cant use them. Only on the articles page about the album under "Fair-Use". Sometimes you may see an album cover on anothe rpage e.g. on an artists page. But that is because additional fair use is added to the article (Basically saying why it is fair that you can use it on that page). Hope This helps! --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 19:57, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

No problem, anytime. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 20:01, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
Hi, thats fine what your doing. The only thing that might not be allowed is the language i.e "Crap". But I think that even that is fine. its only a problem if somebody takes offence which I doubt they would do. But anyway, Its looking goof!. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 21:03, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

Top Hip hop albums

Well Your selection is good however my "Top Hip-Hop Albums" would have to be:

  1. Get Rich or Die Tryin'-Classic
  2. Beg For Mercy-How could I forget?
  3. Thoughts of a Predicate Felon-Actually quite good lyrics and beats despite lower sales & people hatin on Tony Yayo
  4. Straight Outta Cashville-Nice beats and style, solid album
  5. The Hunger For More-Lloyd Banks is excellent lyrucally and anybody who disagrees doesnt matter lol
  6. The Massacre-Its 50 Cent so its gotta be here
  7. Rotten Apple-Amazing features and again, the lyrics
  8. Buck The World-Actually an overall good album, not as much hype though. Needs more worldwide promotion.

Lol ok maybe not best in Hip-hop in general, but all G-Unit albums definately in the top 30? what would you say? Holla Back--¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 19:49, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Good job

Just wanna say good job for creating pages on songs/albums by guys like Dr. Dre or N.W.A. that not many people bother with. I was actually going to create a page for "East Coast/West Coast Killas" but then I found you created it. Same for "Gangsta Gangsta" (that version is way more notable than that Lil' Scrappy version, don't you think?), "Zoom" (by the way, did you get the "unreleased" version that's found on one of the Detox mixtapes, it was either Pretox, Dretox, or Look Out For Detox, anyway, it's actually better than the released version in opinion), and that Concrete Roots album (they create an article for every single Lil' Wayne mixtape but not for that album, which is one of the few albums/mixtapes Dr. Dre ever released). Are you waiting for Detox? I sure as hell can't wait. I noticed you said you are a "noob" to Wiki, and if you want, I can teach you tricks also (along with The-G-Unit-Boss), so leave me a message so we can talk some more about Dr. Dre and N.W.A., love those West Coast classics. --- Realest4Life 01:16, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

You don't need to buy it, download it for free from here. Download the whole mixtape for free. And yeah, I was dissapointed when I found out Detox was pushed back again, but you know, he wants to work with all his Aftermath artists first, he's always so generous and helping others. I guess we just have to wait for everyone else on Aftermath to come out. Talk to you later, and I'll start helping you with pages that you need help with later. Bye. --- Realest4Life 19:06, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
I'll help you in like two hours. By the way, I am sorry for this but I had to remove that "welcome" message that you received a long time ago, for some reason, it wouldn't allow me to edit sections, I kept having to go use the tab at the top and it gets annoying after a while. I hope you understand. --- Realest4Life 22:55, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
No problem man, leave me a message if you need help with another article. --- Realest4Life 13:25, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

Yeah I can help you with it in a few hours. But I think we should just merge it in the "P.I.M.P." article, kind of like a sepparate section just for the remix, and it will have its own infobox, categories, etc., it just seems a bit unecessary when you have a remix. You OK with that? --- Realest4Life 16:05, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

Well, all your albums are at the very least solid (in my opinion). I like that West Coast/G-Funk stuff. But I also like that East Coast music a lot too. And that MidWest music. I don't know about All Eyez on Me though, I mean, it has a lot of hits, but it also has a lot of fillers, I like his other albums more, 2Pacalypse Now, Me Against the World, and The 7 Day Theory, I just think All Eyez on Me is trying way too hard to be a gangsta album. I mean, Me Against the World was like a breath of fresh air at the time, considering everyone was into the gangsta shit (don't get me wrong, I love it, but sometimes it's played out), and then All Eyez on Me was like the opposite of it. However, it does have those classic hits that everyone loves. I really don't have a favorite album, I love all the classics, Illmatic, Doggystyle, The Chronic, etc. --- Realest4Life 16:41, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
Anyway, I gotta go eat now, so I'll be back in about an hour or so. Oh and, I just noticed this, but your user page looks a lot like mine, with the userboxes, album table, "articles created", "about me", I guess we think alike. --- Realest4Life 16:46, 25 August 2007 (UTC)
Yo I have a question though, is the remix actually a single or is it just another song? It has a video so it's a remix, right? --- Realest4Life 17:01, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

OK, I'm done, check it out. --- Realest4Life 18:23, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

References

Ok, Now it'll seem complicated at first but its actually quite easy.

You can use the following pag to help -Wikipedia:Citation_templates.Howver I find that the templates on that page are far too bulky, I prefer the manual method which I will explain below:

Ok so you have a piece of information and you want to reference it. The reference address is

  • [www.Google.com] (example}

and the info is

  • "This page came from google".

So the sentence goes "This page came from google" and at the end of the sentence you add:

  • <ref>Mr Google ([[August 24]] [[2007]]). [www.Google.com Page title here]. Google. Accessed [[August 24]] [[2007]].</ref>

Above is kinda how the perfect reference is. So the "Mr Google" part is the author of the reference page and the date next to the name is the date that it was published. (Those two pieces of info can normally be found on the page somewhere). Then after the address you put the page title e.g the title of the news article. Then you put a full stop and the website without www. or .com on it. Then another full stop and the date that you added the references with "Accessed". And thats It!.

Let me know if you find any of this confusing and what part. Or tell me if this whole explanation id crap and ill start again lol. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 15:06, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

lol thanks. As long as you use the <ref>...</ref> or those templates it will appear in the "Reflisr" automatically. Whatever numbe rit is assigned when you add it (little one) itll be that number on the list. I think that it'll probably be easier for you to use the Templates because its got all of the fields there to fill out, but if you get used to the manual method, itll be easier in the long run. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 15:25, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

My message on Efil4tselaer: Resurrected' page Hi, I have made this article separate because it makes the other article look very awkward with two infoboxes and also it is unclear which one of the artists templates go with what song. It is far better organized being two articles. They were two different songs after all. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 20:39, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

Yeh, They look a lot better now. Peace --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 20:35, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

Yeh, Ill be on here for a while in a bit. Ill help you soon, It should be tonight. Holla Back --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 20:29, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

No problem, you cant be at the comp 24/7. It is looking good. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 17:47, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
Hi, Just thought i'd let you know, you shouldn't have word like "Popular", "Groundbreaking" etc etc that make something sound better than it is or something unless it is widely seen as that. Most people will think that it is your opinion and itll get removed. It better to just say "On their second album" rather than "On their second, groundbreaking, album". you see what I mean? Holla Back --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 18:11, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
With "Sophomore" its better to just use "Second" because it more understandable to a worldwide audience. It kinda explains it in WP:MUSTARD, MUSTARD is kinda like thr basic rules of music related articles, its not too long either, well worth a read. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 19:14, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

Lol, I'm keeping up with you. Keep it real. --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 20:25, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi, Where you have:

The song contains a reference to Scarface at about 1:34 "To be a dopeman, boy, you must qualify - don't get high off your own supply."

You could put:

At 1:34 the song contains a reference to Scarface:

Loc'ed After Dark

What Up?? U told me 2 write you back, so I M. U been doing good things for N.W.A. and shit. I see you got Straight Outta Compton as you #1 album, that's good but I prefer Nigggaz4Life. Anyway Keep it up. Oh and I gotta know, you from Compton, so do you like Compton's Most Wanted, the 2nd best group from tha CPT? —Preceding unsigned comment added by SameAsItEverWas (talkcontribs) 01:04, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

I just created this page about a Compton based group called The Wascals, If you ever listened to 5150: Home 4 tha Sick, you might recognize Bucwheed but if not you might not of heard those 4 niggaz. Check this vid out and tell me it aint a classic. Gimme your opinion, The Wascals- The Dips music video. SameAsItEverWas 00:11, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

Hi, Just a quick note, when you put an album name it should be italicized. e.g. The Massacre not The Massacre. Nice Job! --¤ The-G-Unit-฿oss ¤ 18:03, 6 September 2007 (UTC)

I cleaned up the whole page. I think it's good. Nice to see that there's people creating pages for classics from the '90s, not just all these 2007 Billboard hits. Peace. --- Realest4Life 19:19, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
