Sorry I can't help you. I have created the pages on the three people who assasinated Kevin O'Higgins and I spent some months collecting any piece of information I could find on the net. I am sure that there is more info to be found in written records, and certainly there must be much more to be found in Ireland. However, I am living in Israel and have only a limited time to give to Wikipedia. If I had any more information I would have already put it on the page. - Your best chance of getting info on the web is to do a Google search, like this one. Since the 100-odd results include Google Books results, the chances are that any info you don't find isn't out there to begin with. If you're in Dublin or can get there, your best bet is probably to go to the General Register Office research facility. Since you know his date of death is c. 1987, you should find the entry in the deaths register, which will give you date and place, and also his age at death. You should then be able to find the entry for his birth. Pearse Street Library has copies of national newspapers, so if you have an approximate date for any robberies you may be able to find an account of them there.
- About Izzie11, if you click the "history" tab on Talk:Archie Doyle, you should see "Izzie11 (talk|contribs)". Clicking on "contribs" will show you whether Izzie has edited lately. If not, you're unlikely ever to get a reply from them.

- Thank you Scolaire. I have already tried those routes. No birth or death dates can be found. He may have emigrated since all references to him cease after 1943. I am intrigued by the c1987 death date - I would like to know where it came from. I cannot find anything under izzie11 which is very frustrating. I am sure he must have had other relatives. If anyone reads this and has any further information I would be very interested.
- The c1987 come from me, refering to an 1987 entry on a website mentioning him as having died at some time previously. Adam Keller
