Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism and are immediately reverted. If you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. -- KOS | talk 18:30, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
I've just received a notice warning that I will be blocked if I continue vandalising pages. I disagree with this as I was not vandalising a page. The message tells me to start improving pages. I was. I edited a page dedicated to centrifugal force which is a force which does not actually exist. This is a known fact. I have been told this in my physics lesson by my physics teacher and also from many other well informed sources. I would like to be able to edit this page to explain this misconception without having the page changed back to it's former, incorrect self. If there is anything I need to do, ie citations, then please tell me so that users are not grossly misinformed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Redhairules (talk • contribs)
- Yes please cite all your sources, see WP:CITE. Please know the sources you cite must be verifiable, and reliable, so please also see Wikipedia:Verifiability, and Wikipedia:Reliable sources sadly your physics teacher most likely does not fall into either of those.
