Penelope Buckles, Author

Penelope Buckles aka Chardonnae Winehouse or Reina Direz is a teenage author and songwriter. She is most known for writing her memoir (Parenthesis) in which was about the downfall of her life, this including cyberbullying and eventually catfishing a person. Penelope Katherine Buckles was born May 15, 2002 in Amarillo, Texas to her parents, Becky and Dwight, having another child (Olive Buckles), and eventually divorcing. Early talents were recognized which were a gateway to writing. By 8 years old, Penelope Buckles was already writing novels, now lost by time, that would be dozens of pages long. At the age of 11, Penelope had gotten into self harm, almost always having a sleeve of scratches on her arms. On September 28, 2014, Penelope was actually sent to the hospital after Becky finding out, almost being admitted to a mental institution. On May 21, 2015, police were sent to Penelope’s household after Becky was sent word that she had mangled her arms and actually sent naked pictures of herself to a 21 year old man, anonymously named Danny in her book (Parentheses) No charges were pressed but cautionary actions were made. Danny had known Penelope through a fake profile named “Chardonnae Ramirez (Winehouse)” The two “dated” until the relationship came to a realization point on May 16,2002 when Danny had realized that he was talking to a minor, through her friends also on social media. Having to go through months of counseling, Penelope returned back to normal, and started to write her first book (Parenthesis)
