You need to start a discussion on the talk page to determine if consensus has changed. It has been discussed multiple times, and is on multiple pages in the archives. Consensus is that it does belong. The fact that you dislike the consensus doesz not permit you to throw it out. Continued editing against consensus can be viewed as vandalism, and can result in your account being blocked. You may also want to review WP:Manual of Style/Lead section, which states: "The lead should be able to stand alone as a concise overview.
