Speedy deletion of CommanderBond.net
[edit]A tag has been placed on CommanderBond.net, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia per CSD a7.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the article and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. OfficeGirl 17:58, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

Conflict of Interest in CommanderBond.net
[edit]If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:
- editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,

- and you must always:
- avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

Just a Note
[edit]I can see how you are very determined to make the CommanderBond.net article a good one. I'm glad to see it. Get some information about how other WIkipedians can verify all that media coverage you are mentioning as soon as you can. I appreciate your attention to the tags that are being placed and I can see that you are receiving them as constructive encouragement, as you have taken down the "story" section for reworking in response to that tag. You are showing a great attitude and I wanted you to know it is appreciated. Also, be CAREFUL of saying things like "we" "our" "us"-- that's a no-no and it's a dead giveaway of conflict of interest. Nd don't copy anything off the actual website you are writing about unless the website executes a copyright release (to the rest of the world) in accordance with Wikipedia policies. Thanks and good luck!OfficeGirl 19:34, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Jeremy Duns
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Jeremy Duns, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Non-notable author
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Orphaned non-free image File:Carteblanche.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Carteblanche.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 04:47, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
