Korean references

[edit]

Hello, a little notification: according to the standard rules of wikipedia for {{cite web... , the language of a source is included with language=Korean (see Template:Cite web: "language: The language the source is written in, if not English. Displays in parentheses with "in" before the language name. Use the full language name; do not use icons or templates."), which I did in Yoochun's article but you changed back. Since I'm changing your edits back again, I just wanted to let you know, that it's because of wikipedia's standards, which should be followed. See you around. --- Pancakey-sshi 01:05, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I have found that other users using the Korean icon; and many readers have found it more convenient. It's in front of the cited source, letting others know the reference is in the language Korean. I do not know where you got: {{cite web... , the language of a source is included with language=Korean (see Template:Cite web: "language: The language the source is written in, if not English. Displays in parentheses with "in" before the language name. Use the full language name; do not use icons or templates."). It seems more to me that you have your own preference at how you want certain things to be cited. Why just correct mine but fail to correct the rest? Look at some of the other references cited in Yoochun's Wikipedia page. I'll leave your changes because I assume you want your changes kept there and even if I did change back, you'll change it back to yours. Either reply back to me with the direct link or avoid ever contacting me again; I do not have a high tolerance for fastidious people. --- Rilanna (talk) 01:05, 11 January 2013 (UTC)Rilanna (talk) 00:55, 11 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, no need to become impolite or personal here, it helps no-one. This has nothing to do with my preferences. Like I said, it says so here, just look it up yourself: Template:Cite web (section "1 Usage" for how to use it, section "3.3.2 Title" for further explanation). I told you that it says so there, I also mentioned it in my edit from 16:27, 6 January 2013‎. On January 6, I only corrected your references because I only corrected new edits, but on January 10, I corrected all of them, except for two references, because they aren't using the cite web template yet. I will change that today though. You can reply, if you want, here, on your own talk page, as I've put it on my watchlist for now. --- Pancakey-sshi 01:20, 11 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
