The newspaper article is copyright by the Bolton Chronicle, and the image scan of it should not be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons. Also, Wikipedia articles aren't technically allowed to footnote other Wikipedia articles... AnonMoos (talk) 21:55, 10 February 2011 (UTC)

- No. The fact that a particular newspaper is no longer published does not mean that the owners or their successors no longer own the copyright on the issues which were published. JamesBWatson (talk) 12:34, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
