Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Rma2022. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

Dear ARandomName123,
Why do you think I have a conflict of interest or an using copyrighted information? Rma2022 (talk) 18:16, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I noticed a significant amount of gossip on his page, for example, even if you look at this first paragraph under "Economic forecasts" it seems clearly crafted to debase the credibility of the individual.
"Roubini says that his economic analysis approach is "holistic." Rather than focus on mathematical models and formulas, he draws his ideas from a combination of history, literature, and international politics, what he calls the "entire enchilada." He also described his approach at an International Monetary Fund meeting, when discussing how he arrived at the percentage likelihood that there would be a recession, by saying: "If you ask me where I got that number: Just out of my nose. I will be very honest about that... my model is like a 'smell test'." Political economist Benjamin Kunkel described his approach as "almost shamanistic." Journalist Julia Ioffe observed "Roubini-ism-- [is] sprawling, non-linear, and hypercaffeinated-- ... his talking points are ... pluralized, rushing out quickly, like a magician's scarves ....""
I do not believe this above writing is neutral. It seems like an attack page, which is something the Wikipedia community should not stand for, and should address when it is noticed.
Additionally, the image uploaded, is not under any copyright, as far as I can tell. If it is, feel free to point it out! And I will upload it again accordingly under your guidance.
If you felt my revisions were not appropriate, would you like to help me create revisions which would make this page more factual than it appears to to be now?
I will be raising this matter to the living persons board, and requesting the attention of an uninvolved administrator on this matter, if we cannot come to some sort of common agreement. Rma2022 (talk) 18:45, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Rma2022: Hi, the copyright notice refers to text. Unless it is released under a compatible copyright license, we can't have direct copy-pastes of it. Regarding the image, it can be found on various places on the web via a reverse image search. We need an explicit confirmation that the licensing of the image follows c:licensing. Majority of images on the web are not usable due to this, and just because it does not say "Copyright 2024" or something, does not mean it isn't copyrighted.
I have not reviewed the entire page in-depth, just your addition, which was flagged by m:CopyPatrol. The reason I believe you have a conflict of interest is that Roubini's article is the only article you edit, and your addition to the lead seemed less than neutral. Of course, I could be wrong, so feel free to correct me if you do not have a conflict of interest. The relevant noticeboard is Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard, though administrators have no more editorial control over article content than other editors.
