Proofs of Fermat's Christmas Theorem

Yes, it's true that many of the proofs may be simplified in many ways. However, most of the proofs in the article are historical. That is, the article is presenting the proofs as given by the people cited (Euler, Dedekind, etc). As such, they should not be simplified because those people did not do so. Of course, a "modern proof" or "discussion" section may address those points, but the historical arguments ought not to be changed. Magidin (talk) 16:27, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
