Reference for claim in 5-MeO-DMT article
[edit]Hi--on Feb 18th you edited the 5-MeO-DMT page and added the following statement w/o a reference:
"However, according to numerous reports, the combination with MAOI is extremely unpleasant and has a strong bodyload."
I am aware that this information has been floating around in unreferenced "street wisdom" for about five years now, however, it currently contridicts the published reports of e.g. Callaway. cf. Jonathan Ott's _Ayahuasca Analogues_ in which he clearly states that 5-MeO-DMT is acceptable as principal entheogen and substitute for dmt in aa's. I am currently researching exactly this question. Do you have any solid references to back up this statement? To which "numerous reports" are you refering? In any case, your statement in the wiki article needs a reference, otherwise it will have to get tagged as unrefed. Please reply on my talk page. Erasurehead 13:08, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
- Hi. Thanks for your reply....it helped a little. As far as the Bluelight discussions...I suspect there's been some bad 5-meo-dmt from sketchy internet research chemicals houses floating around the last few years. This would reconcile the underground gossip with reports from people like Callaway who have 100% known 100% clean source, though your comment on Shulgin throws a different light on the matter...I'll read what Shulgin has to say. GU002
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article GU002, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of GU002. Mdsummermsw (talk) 20:53, 15 February 2008 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called RoS. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name RoS~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
