Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Guinnog 13:01, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

reply: how can you consider as "spam" , a link to an informative article on an important issue? It's the main Wiki spirit, that of informing people! Or maybe you don't like somebody which expose abuses on children? (there are many like those on Net, too...; hope you don't support them!)

If you read the policy I referred you to, it should be clear why I removed your link. It is more important to add actual content to our articles than to add links; most articles have plenty of links already. Wikipedia is not a soapbox, and I repeat you should discuss and obtain consensus before adding your link again. --Guinnog 14:00, 17 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. Khoikhoi 03:48, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Competence

[edit]

I don't know how come that some kids with a lot of time to waste had come to a power to remove other (more competent and respected professional) people works; all those pages already have useless links to out of date sites, to personal (useless) pages and so on.
