I think with a little more work, this article can attain Good Article status. I've done a bit of work on cleaning up the references and improving the organization of the article, but I don't actually know anything about the event, nor do I have ready access to most of the cited works. I know you've contributed to it in the past, can you help check items off the to-do list? Thanks, Cmadler (talk) 19:27, 22 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Broken Coord

[edit]

Hi. I'm trying to clear out Category:Coord template needing repair. Your page, User:Rosserlloyd, is on it because it has
{{coor title dms|55|38|672|N|4|40|203|W|region:GB_type:city}}.

Looking at the map, I think you want
{{coord|55|38.672|N|4|40.203|W |region:GB_type:landmark}}
55°38.672′N 4°40.203′W / 55.644533°N 4.670050°W / 55.644533; -4.670050 — with degrees & decimal minutes, rather than degrees, minutes & seconds.

Oscar Wilde Annecdote

[edit]

Hi, thanks for the addition to the Wilde article, I think it is a nice piece that adds new perspective on what he was like. Though it may be better to incorporate it into the article as a whole, could you check roughly what year it was from? So it can be woven into the article? Thanks, Ktlynch (talk) 12:39, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
