Alternative medicine

What is alternative medicine and why is it called alternative? This is a paradox as the only medicine that was natural medicine using the herbs and the body itself to heal with no side effects was the one we today call alternative.

When was it that alternative became mainstream and use of toxic and addictive drugs derived from synthetics and petroleum products became mainstream. It started with some industrialists unleashing their propagandist armies to spread the word that the centuries old system of medicine was nothing and the newly discovered source of immense revenue ie the synthetic toxic drugs were part of the mainstream. Accordingly at the same time medical colleges and Universities were funded and dictated to a new syllabi which treated the natural way with disdain and focus was on prescribing drugs that were toxic and addictive. This was the birth of big Pharma courtesy of a group of industrialists under Rockefeller himself. Today the result is in front of us with new diseases viruses popping up almost every year.
