RGSHW

[edit]

Please don't fiddle with our page; it is designed as a miniature prospectus of the school and thus our key features have to be displayed in good fashion. Putting a request for removal of something so minor is of course not going to be relevant as the site is barely updated from year to year. Perhaps you only removed it because you are an old boy who had no interest in the stage lighting however I can assure you after much input from staff, the PA and team members the team is now a lot better than it was a few years ago.

Thank you for being so courteous as to sign your posts so I can actually respond to you appropriately. The section on the RGSHW wiki is, as stated, lacking in sources or citations of any kind. It makes irrelevant claims about something that is neither a large part of daily school life, nor is it particularly noteworthy. The claim that the SLST is one of the most well equipped teams in the country is also entirely false - I refer you again to my point about Hampton School, or St Pauls - both schools, of similar sizes, that have by far superior facilities.
The RGSHW wiki page is not a miniature prospectus, and never will be - it is an entry in an online encyclopaedia, and as such must reflect the facts in an unbiased, objective way. It is for this reason, I intend to remove the section again. Sage1314 (talk) 20:31, 27 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of PROD from RGS SLST

[edit]

Hello Sage1314, this is an automated message from SDPatrolBot to inform you the PROD template you added to RGS SLST has been removed. It was removed by Javindo with the following edit summary '(no edit summary)'. Please consider discussing your concerns with Javindo before pursuing deletion further yourself. If you still think the article should be deleted after communicating with the 'dePRODer,' you may want to send the article to AfD for community discussion. London Wikimedia Fundraiser

[edit]

Good evening! This is a friendly message from Chase me ladies, I'm the Cavalry, inviting you to the London Wikimedia Fundraising party on 19th December 2010, in approximately one week. This party is being held at an artistic London venue with room for approximately 300 people, and is being funded by Ed Saperia, a non-Wikipedian who has a reputation for holding exclusive events all over London. This year, he wants to help Wikipedia, and is subsidising a charity event for us. We're keen to get as many Wikimedians coming as possible, and we already have approximately 200 guests, including members of the press, and some mystery guests! More details can be found at http://ten.wikipedia.org/wiki/London - expect an Eigenharp, a mulled wine hot tub, a free hog roast, a haybale amphitheatre and more. If you're interested in coming - and we'd love to have you - please go to the ten.wikipedia page and follow the link to the Facebook event. Signing up on Facebook will add you to the party guestlist. Entry fee is a heavily subsidised £5 and entry is restricted to over 18s. It promises to be a 10th birthday party to remember! If you have any questions, please email me at chasemewiki at gmail.com.

Hope we'll see you there, (and apologies for the talk page spam) - Chase me ladies, I'm the Cavalry (talk) 23:50, 12 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
