SameR is in Love with Music Since Along Time Ago Music has been the biggest passion in his life , and he always felt the need to share that passion with other people
SameR Growing up in Kuwait, he moved to Alexandria at the age of 14, and, not into sports or playing outside,
he grow increasingly interested in computers and music. And it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that computers + music = a smart DJ.
At 19 he became a popular local DJ, beinghired for weddings and parties in Alexandria and also had a part time job in a record store .
After graduating with a Business Management degree and a quick career detour setting up the first Virgin Megastore in Kuwait,
in 2003 he moved to Cairo and enrolled in a sound engineering course as an apprentice at M2 Sound Recording Studio, a famous studio used by many well know Egyptian singers.
He was the youngest working sound engineer in Cairo at that time and through his connections at the studio he got hired to DJ as the warm up act,
for Egyptian Channel One’s 2003 Ramadan music entertainment program. Not yet satisfied by his music knowledge and understanding,
he spent a further two years studying music and instruments with the help of Ismail El Wahsh, arguably the best drummer in Egypt.
While talking with SameR he explained to me the theory behind the make up and layers which sit inside each dance track,
how he spends hour after hour practicing and just listening, allowing his ears to feel the beats and thus mix blind.
Deejay SameR spent many years playing original tracks, as the resident DJ at Hard Rock Cairo, Four Seasons Berlin,
Bus Stop and Pacha Naama Bay and TGI Fridays here in Sharm and finally Little Buddha Sharm. Freedom and the encouragement from his fans,
led him to start playing his own creations and his mixing of popular Arabic songs with dance tracks have became legendary.
In 2007 his sets were played on Radio Sharm and he began posting his music on the internet.
His unique sound, a mixture of commercial dance, Latin inspired tracks and samples from well known pop hits,
in November 2010 he was offered the job as resident DJ in the newly opened Space Ibiza’s Sharm Nightclub.
He will be playing his set alongside the worlds most infamous DJ’s, at the worlds number one night club!

He has recently composed and posted his dance mix of the Egyptian National Anthem (Bilady Bilady),
created in celebration of his country’s fight for freedom.
