Disambiguation link notification for August 29[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Polish tribes, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Pantheon. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

ArbCom elections are now open![edit]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. RfC[edit]

Hi! We haven't bumped into each other for a while, but there's an RfC I think would interest you currently open here. Cheers! --Iryna Harpy (talk) 00:21, 19 December 2015 (UTC)

Hi Iryna, it is good to hear from you. I have actually seen this RfC before at some point, but delayed commenting on it and eventually forgot about it entirely, so thanks for reminding me. I have left a comment there. --Samotny Wędrowiec (talk) 01:50, 19 December 2015 (UTC)
Thank you. I think we need as much input as possible from experienced users who have to grapple with these crazy galleries. If we don't cross paths again before the Christmas and New Year period, I wish you and yours all the best for the upcoming season and 2016! --Iryna Harpy (talk) 02:33, 19 December 2015 (UTC)
I agree, and of course I also wish you and your close ones all the best at this time of year and for the next! --Samotny Wędrowiec (talk) 18:26, 19 December 2015 (UTC)

Kontakt[edit]

Witam.

I bez "Pan" - proszę :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by NeonFor (talkcontribs) 21:30, 27 December 2015 (UTC)

Season's greetings![edit]

Genetics for ethnic groups RfC[edit]

In case you're interested in voicing an opinion, there's an RfC being held here. Cheers! --Iryna Harpy (talk) 00:51, 30 April 2016 (UTC)

Thanks Iryna, I've left a comment there (ended up writing more than I should have, as always). --Samotny Wędrowiec (talk) 17:42, 30 April 2016 (UTC)
No, you haven't said too much! It's been a problem for a long time, and most editors don't want the info there, but can't find a reasonable, policy-based method of handling it. Knowing what the fundamental problems with Wikipedia are, and burning ourselves out trying to redress them are the rewards of unpaid editing for regulars like us. Sigh. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 05:30, 1 May 2016 (UTC)

Yo Ho Ho[edit]

Kvass[edit]

Speedy deletion nomination of Soplica[edit]

Hello Samotny Wędrowiec,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Soplica for deletion because the article appears to be about something that you or someone you know personally invented, coined, or discovered, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important—that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.
