Your submission at Articles for creation: best tennis players in history (September 26)

The biggest problem with the article is it qualifies as Original Research, especially as synthesis. The article is attempting to declare a best player based on your own interpretation of statistics. The most relevant articles to look at are WP:SYN and WP:SYNNOT. I would consider an article based solely on number of tour victories (which can be proven), but it appears such an article exists Lists of tennis records and statistics. Since there is not article where all the statistics are collected together, number of grand slams, number of masters, number of tour 500 and number of davis cups and number of gold metals, could you consider the article if I just remove the scoring, which is the part that can lead you to think that is base in my personal opinion and I just leave the facts of the number of titles? That would meet all the requirements you are mentioning.

I won't promise anything, but you do have a better shot at acceptance then. I would only make sure there's no other articles that would be considered too close to that one. Off-hand though, I couldn't find one. LionMans Account (talk) 23:55, 30 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
