User talk:Sasata/Fossa

I did some copyediting. I generally prefer using the common name, as it is easier for more people to read. (I also prefer the common name capitalized, but I won't push that here.) Also, We should talk in the singular as often as possible. "The fossa" instead of "fossas", for we should be able to replace such a subject with C ferox which is always singular (and one of the reasons I often push for capitalization of the common name). This sentence is confusing:
One study found that vertebrates comprised 94% of the diet of fossas, with lemurs comprising over 50%, as well as tenrecs (9%), lizards (9%), birds (2%), and seeds (5%).
Are seeds now considered vertebrates? *grins* - UtherSRG (talk) 07:49, 18 May 2010 (UTC)
