Naming references

[edit]

Hi, in this edit you assigned multiple different citations the tag ":0" and it's impossible to know which one you refer to.

  • <ref name=":0">{{Cite book |last=Seville |first=Adrian |title=The Cultural Legacy of the Royal Game of the Goose: 400 years of Printed Board Games |publisher=Amsterdam: Amsterdam University Press |year=2019}}</ref>
  • <ref name=":0">{{Cite journal |last=Seville |first=Adrian |title=The Sociable Game of the Goose |url=https://d1wqtxts1xzle7.cloudfront.net/54412839/BGS_2008_Lisbon_Sociable_Goose_published-libre.pdf?1505221787=&response-content-disposition=inline%3B+filename%3DThe_Sociable_Game_of_the_Goose.pdf&Expires=1699921676&Signature=I1hx9DQAFI3KH0XB-7lK7C3~PPAW6y2FR6YbJK-GaRiGrIuP4EEgFwPlF1WJFerjKXg~cjzRyMElzTg3u~enhS67-EQrKYmWAyWq~D0AocUfqNTYBAo9DXFQWEulO4tfoBnhYxoZOBK1eaku8fDuSaD1YD7aqMhSCCCWZM48Q00sdgvycXa4CLsNws6iz38uIS~9V~z8xv~fvaZI0eCJxEO~dHBaYxi7JcxzFbxoaePxDEwm~3ws63jGFGts7p6rc9yFTRuIAjTrMGT2WOdAC~TMdCgnCn7wyg0WZFjQ14UYOOuA0ky5uFVjuO8XmGtG6U9~29vCVszGaUO0WFwr9A__&Key-Pair-Id=APKAJLOHF5GGSLRBV4ZA |journal= |pages=1001-1014}}</ref>

Which is the correct ":0"? There can be only one. For for example you cited:

  • Successive versions taught geography, the arts of war, and heraldry, produced from expensively engraved copper plates as opposed to the provincial productions of games from woodcut blocks.<ref name=":0" />

Which ":0" citation do you refer to? There should only ever be one, and only one, citation that uses "0:". Please correct this. It's the same problem with ":1".

Also, it's much better to use the author's last name, these numbers are not good create problems. It would be instead <ref name="Seville1"> and <ref name="Seville2">
