Hi Scientistdoc,

I'm a bit concerned about your comments on Talk:Poppers to User:Hankwilson. I can understand why you're getting annoyed, but if you think he's vandalising the talk page, you're better leaving a warning, such as those at Wikipedia:Template_messages/User_talk_namespace on User talk:Hankwilson. That way, it doesn't come across as you attacking him, but it will allow the proper process (i.e. warnings leading to blocking if appropriate) to go ahead.

…Thanks for the warning re proper way to handle vandal Hank Wilson. It's new to me how to deal with a vandal. He's so blatant. [User:Scientistdoc|Scientistdoc]] 23:09, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
No problem. I'm still not entirely convinced he is a vandal. I think he's still just trying to improve the Poppers article, and is having trouble accepting that Wikipedia acts by consensus, or at least that the consensus doesn't agree with him.
Personally, I've just been ignoring Hankwilsons comments—he has a habit of writing very large swathes of text with very little content, and frankly I don't hane the time to read it all. Provided any edits he makes to the actual article are constructive, I'm not going to take issue. Thinking about it, it may be more appropriate to use {{subst:uw-chat1}} and {{subst:uw-tpv1}}. The second is for editing others comments, the first is for using the talk page as a forum—Hankwilson isn't talking about the article any more, he's talking about people using poppers and trying to convince other editors that poppers are bad.
