Joanna's reply about possible articles for revision

[edit]

The three topics you've identified so far are certainly relevant for class. The "identity crisis" one seems like the best starting point to me, only because there's a basic page already that just needs some work and it's particularly relevant to our class. The "self confidence" page seems like it needs a TON of work, plus as a topic, it's so broad that it might be hard to make it narrow enough to be a manageable project with direct relevance to the course. Finally, "ethnic identity" as a topic is worth considering, but the link you provided goes to a much longer page called "ethnic group". After looking around, I found that there is a page on "ethnic identity development" that is probably closer to what you're thinking of, and much more relevant to class. I only skimmed the page quickly, but it seemed like it was in reasonable shape so I'm not sure how much more work it needs. With that said, there may be some other sub-topics in this area that could be a good place to go. So again, of the 3 you've suggested so far, strengthening the "identity crisis" page seems like it has the most potential, but you're welcome to think of other possibilities. ----Joanna Jml4bw (talk) 19:08, 23 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Joanna's feedback on Stereotype article comments

[edit]

I do agree that the section on "stereotype threat" in the stereotype article was limited; however, I wonder if the authors of the page were intentional about that, given that there is a whole separate page devoted to stereotype threat. It could be that the stereotype page was designed to provide an overview, and rather than going into a lot of detail on every sub-topic, the page provides links to separate pages for these subtopics. With that in mind, you might want to visit the "stereotype threat" page and see if it meets your expectations. Given your interest in the topic, there may be something you feel should be added. ----Joanna Jml4bw (talk) 14:21, 24 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sean's edits to a page

[edit]

Hope all is well. Just wanted to clarify my completion of the wiki assignment for today since I forgot to provide a summary on my page. If you go to this link:
