File source problem with File:Hacker_inside.jpg

To put this simply, you're not the author of this artwork, dude. I am. {{PD-Self}} was the wrong tag to use. *ahem* *eyeroll* I'll push a decent SVG version (yes I finally managed to reconvert it from the ancient Corel Draw format) of the thing up later tonight (assuming that I don't forget once I get home). I've next to no idea about how WP handles these sorts of disputes, tho'.

As far as I know it might have needed the {{Trademarked}} tag, and maybe {{Copyrighted free use provided that (pipe) it does not result in the author being involved in needless legal drama, and that it's use remains primarily parodic in nature.}}. Not exactly professional legal-ese, but it's what I've said all these years now because I am highly averse to the idea of being dragged into court over a clear parody just because some bored lawyer wants to exercise their inner a**hole over some idiot kid selling mouse pads. ...although that's mainly paranoia on my part. It's possible that some other category here applies but being that I'm not a lawyer and my knowledge of this goes about as far as it being a parody when I made it and not much further {{PD-author}} might well be all the "protection" I need (actually at this late point in the game, I suspect most judges might throw out any infringement suits just for being asked nicely). For the record, I'm not pissed or anything--I was mainly just astonished to see that someone had to "claim" it to get it up here.

For interested third parties, I'm quite sure it's me, but as to "proof" you can either a) show up at a PhreakNIC and ask around, or b) take http://evildagmarx.deviantart.com/art/640x480-BIOS-Splash-no-31337-8276301 at face value (we can probably find even older convention artwork/materials around someplace). The parody logo has practically been the mascot of PhreakNIC since before Y2K. We will handle this situation like gentlemen, or possibly there will be swords involved. I managed to dig up the original files (in Corel Draw 3.0 format!) about six months ago before PhreakNIC 14 and converted it over to SVG format so I could finally make that version available. I've put it up over on the Wikimedia Commons under CC-BY-SA 3.0 so if the artifacting in the JPG version here is bugging them, now they can let their OCD run wild like I did back in '97. There are three issues with you GA nomination of Stuxnet. The bolded sentences are the ones that need attention.
