The article is an improvement, but still could use some stylistic tweaks such as italicizing of scientific names, footnotes after punctuation, and additional wikilinks where appropriate (see WP:MOSLINK). It's also important to ensure that all content is clearly attributed with in-text citations, to avoid the appearance of original research or an essay.
