Thanks for correcting Ambient network

[edit]

Thanks! You know anything about this project? Or you work with it? Maybe you could extend it? It would be beneficial, I think. It is an interesting subject, and only a very small part of it is written here. Maybe a good illustration of the layers would be interesting?

Anyways, thanks. Also, please fill up your user page with some info here and there, like name and what languages you speak (see my userpage for how to do that). It helps to communicate. Msoos 10:53, 30 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Minor edits

[edit]

Hi! Thanks for the great work you're doing on the Merseyside articles, especially on the railway articles. Could I just ask you to check in your preferences whether you've got "Mark all edits as minor" activated in error? It just seems like you're marking all of your edits as such, when a lot of them certainly aren't minor (e.g. splitting articles, adding new info). I (and many other editors) normally screen out minor edits in my watchlist, so I get missed out of important development if this is the case.

Thanks again! Aquilina 14:43, 13 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No problem whatsoever - I just like keeping in touch with what you're working on! See you around Aquilina 17:41, 13 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Listed building

[edit]

Why do you keep removing listed buildings cats from artciles? and why do you point things to the wirral peninsuala rather than the council? Why do you creat lots of cats which are only going to have one entery.--84.9.210.173 11:53, 15 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think it better to only create the subcat when there are say 5 items for it. A full merseyside Cat looks better than 5 virtually empty sub cats.--84.9.210.173 14:28, 15 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned fair use image (Image:UKEngland.png)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:UKEngland.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Gman124 01:14, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
