Thanks for your edits. In general, statements of fact cannot be POV, although they can be erroneous and sources should always be cited. Preferably though, these sources are not blogs as those tend to be less reliable. There are a number of Wikipedia policies that deal with threats and harassment, these include WP:NPA, WP:NLT, and WP:HAR. Do you have a specific happening in mind? - I don't see any obvious intimidation taking place on that talk page, Achitnis is right to insist on the use of verifiable facts. That being said, if you believe that he is wrongfully removing properly sourced additions, you shouldn't hesitate to bring this up on the talk page in reply to his message. In response to your query, commonly known facts such as "the United States of America is a country that consists of fifty states" can be added to an aricle without providing citations, but facts that could be contested should provide citations. The best practice is to cite reliable references for all facts in an article. Be sure to avoid original research. Any Wikipedia page can be linked to from another Wikipedia page using [[NAMESPACE:PAGENAME]]. Rarely though would you want to link to a user page within a Wikipedia article (see Wikipedia:Avoid self-references). Canderson7 (talk) 14:25, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
