i just saw this: You know, followup, I apologize for being sarcastic. I could have calmly explained things this way, and out of impatience I opted not to: I am not on Wikipedia constantly. I am occasionally, like any user, called away, distracted, or busy. I will gladly answer questions, provide info, or hear someone out if I am available to do so. But I acted testily because I did not appreciate being expected to be on-call at all times for it, and being chastised as though I were. Despite that, I could've spoken more nicely, and I didn't, which is solely my fault. Sorry about that, non-sarcastically this time

i understand, honestly it was kinda funny, no harm done. i wouldnt have reacted different myself probably. i was kinda just hung up on after the notice of deletion was posted so suddenly, i figured someone musta been watchin like a hawk. all good v.

so now is all that code from the page gone or can i get it back and keep adjusting it?

also, id like to build the pages until theyre complete & then launch em when ready, what feature do i use for that please?

thanks

[edit]

well, after "I apologize that my ability to answer questions while I am not online is not of satisfactory speed. I'll be sure to work on being able to type faster while not physically at my computer"

i guess i made an inaccurate assumption?

alls well, first draft - crap. next one will be better for the mistakes, the references will be airtight

peace V

No problemo. Your assumption had justification. I was being sarcastic, you had good reason to suspect that was the same thing. Keep up the good work and thanks for talking this out. You have any other questions, just throw 'em my way. - Vianello (Talk) 07:07, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

you gotta work on your sarcasm. "But since you seem to basically have that figured out"

thats how you "administrate?"

i sent you facts and quesitons

thanks for your help

sorry about your bad mood, whatevers botherin you is all your choice to hold onto

youre truly powerful

"Since you seem to have figured that out" was not sarcasm. You have shown you know basically how to put together a page, which is why I wanted to mention the article wizard might NOT be the best stop for you. And bringing up other articles is irrelevant. Other things existing does not magically grant notability to other things. Let's say a band happens to get "under the radar" and, despite being blatantly non-notable, is not deleted. That does not mean that now all non-notable bands are now permitted to have articles. WP:OTHERSTUFF explains this pretty well. Just because some companies may, or may not, be notable, does not mean the notability criteria are now suspended. Look over WP:CORP, put together an article that meets criteria there, and you're 100% good to go. - Vianello (Talk) 06:57, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

no apologies or sarcasm needed V

[edit]

it was deleted and gone while i was typin a hangon and then you were gone.

ill work on tying my hangons before the delete notice is posted, see where the sarcasm goes, nowhere.

Alternatively, you could try, just for grins, having your references and demonstration of notability up before posting an article. I think you'll find that works quite well. Nobody is forcing you to post articles before they are ready. The "Under construction" template tag is also a decent way to get some reprieve for a while if you're in the process of actively working on an article. - Vianello (Talk) 06:46, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Your question

[edit]

I apologize that my ability to answer questions while I am not online is not of satisfactory speed. I'll be sure to work on being able to type faster while not physically at my computer. As for the deletion of the page, it did not, as presented, meet any of the notability criteria outlined in WP:Notability, particularly WP:CORP. It isn't necessary to submit an article for inclusion before its writeup contains evidence it meets these notability criteria. The page spot will still be there later. - Vianello (Talk) 06:39, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I should add, "types of companies" do not get automatic notability. Some companies of a given type are notable, some are not. The article needs to demonstrate that to meet inclusion criteria. You might find the WP:Article wizard helpful, as it provides a really good step-by-step of setting up a page. But since you seem to basically have that figured out, I think reading over WP:CORP is your best starting point. - Vianello (Talk) 06:45, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
