Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Southwest Festival of the Written Word, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. - The previous article did not have any issues. Will replacing the current article with the previous one solve the problem? Can I then remove the maintenance template? Silver Citian (talk) 07:26, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
- If there's a previous version of the article that's not promotional in tone, then yes, it would probably be best to revert to that, and then add new information if any in a neutral, encyclopedic tone.
- That could justify removing the second and third maintenance template; the one about notability can only be removed if it is shown that there is significant coverage of the article's subject in independent reliable sources.

- Yeah, I believe those work to establish notability. I have no objections to removing the notability maintenance template now (the first one).
