Replacing a Wikipedia article

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, Simajulie. It is not generally a good idea for newcomers to Wikipedia to try to create a new article straight away, or – what is equivalent – to completely or largely overwrite an existing article with a new version of your own, as you did at Rinat Jumabayev. Unfortunately, I found that your version of this article was not an improvement.

Changes to articles need to adhere to our policies on neutrality and verifiability. Relevant content and references to independent sources should be kept, and any additional information should also be supported by such references. Finally, editors should have a basic knowledge of standard formats used here, which make an article readable and display its connections to other articles.

Before attempting any further large-scale editing I recommend you read Introduction and How to edit, and perhaps work through the Tutorial, to learn more about what is expected of editors.

The other point is that if you have any connection to Rinat Jumabayev, you must declare this fact as described in our conflict of interest policy and should refrain from any further edits to that article, more than minor adjustments. Expanded material may be proposed on the article's talk page, but please be sure to cite your sources. Thank you : Bhunacat10 (talk), 08:50, 13 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
