[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to Locational astrology, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. Please note that blogs are not considered to be reliable sources and that sources should be independent - we do not source a person's theories to their own work without secondary sources. - Hello Skyrise. Thanks for your notification regarding my attempt to reestablish standards in the article: "Locational Astrology" that I had set in 2015 under the name Sioli7.
- I understand that you set, quote and interprete rules for publication of information in wikipedia.
- Regarding the question of scientific standards of information on "astrology" and "esoteric" I want to state my understanding of the general, abstract issue as the following:
- - astrology is a systemical approach to interpretation
- - there is no proven reality to results of interpretation
- - all results from astrological interpretation are relative
- - since astrology is and has always been corrupted for commercial purposes in 95 % of its publications through methods using mental, emotional, psychological manipulation astrological publications can not be trusted anyway.
- - therefore I assume that the standards you attempt could od do make sense.
- - You make me feel like I should not edit that article again.
- Regarding your mentioning of the need for a 3rd source information on
- Astrological Geomancy - Astrologische Geomantie I suggest the followng Astro-Wiki page - or is that nor reliable from your point of view:
- Thanks for your help

- Just read the linked page on what a reliable source is. In particular, we do not source to blogs. Books and journal article are preferred sources. Most astrology websites would not be considered reliable. And yes, if you don't know how to source a college paper, thesis, or disertation, then you should choose to educate yourself on sourcing and citation before you wade in. And you may not write about yourself or your own theories! See our conflict of interest rules below. Skyerise (talk) 22:05, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
