PlanetCricket
[edit]Why did you delete this article that I have just spent the last hour working on? Ever though of giving someone the chance to complete an article before deleting it?
"Also, please note that some Wikipedians create articles in multiple saves, so try to avoid deleting a page too soon after its initial creation." - From Criteria for speedy deletion
As for not being significant it is the only large cricket gaming website and is mentioned in articles about several cricket games. How does this not make it significant to the subject of cricket games?
By the way you also ignored my challenge to the speedy deletion which I was in the process of typing before you decided to delete the article. Please restore it ASAP!

Please respond instead of just deleting this comment!

Deletion
[edit]I reverted my initial revert of your question on my talk page, perhaps I would have looked closer in the first place if it weren't for noticing your initial rather childish edit to my user page. For details on notability for web sites see WP:WEB, the article contained no assertion of notability. --pgk 18:14, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
Perhaps as the article wasnt finished? If you gave me a minute to finish it perhaps then it would have had some assertion of notability. Please restore it so I can add to the article.
You should read Criteria for speedy deletion - "Also, please note that some Wikipedians create articles in multiple saves, so try to avoid deleting a page too soon after its initial creation."

User talk pages
[edit]Will you stop messing around with my talk page. Like just about everyone else on wikipedia new comments go to the bottom of the page. I am perfectly entitled to move your comment to the bottom of the page like I did. So far you have delayed me restoring the article since I seem to have spent several minutes putting right the mess you have made. --pgk 18:26, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
Sorry I have moved to the bottom of the page for you. Sixer82 18:28, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
- There was no need, I had already done it. Also I notice you created Pgk (now deleted). Please read WP:AGF, WP:CIVIL and WP:NPA continue the way you have so far and you are likely to find yourself blocked from editing. Back to the matter in hand I have restored the article (PlanetCricket) so you can expand it. --pgk 18:32, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
I apologise for this, I was just angry with having the work I had just created deleted before I even got a chance to finish it or respond to your speedy deletion warning. I have now started to edit the article Sixer82 18:40, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
Orphaned fair use image (Image:Planetcricket logo.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Planetcricket logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
