65.60.188.148 (talk) 21:19, 15 June 2014 (UTC)Sorry to have blundered into it. I was attempting to expand the stub. The article was reviewed by several knowledgeable people before I submitted it.
Skstmartin (talk) 12:52, 17 June 2014 (UTC)Is there something further I need to do?
Skstmartin (talk) 14:39, 18 June 2014 (UTC)I edited the article as you suggested. Thanks for your help. The only thing I wonder about is the superscript letters (a, b, c, ...) that appear after the numbers in the notes. I do not know if they is OK or what to do if they are not. Steve St. Martin
Gideon Hollister Pond
[edit]Hi-what you did was that when you edited the Gideon Hollister Pond article you took out the existing citations and the categories of the article. And there was no edit comment or comment on the talk page of what you were trying to edit. I will look at the history of your previous edits and see what I can do to help-thank you-RFD (talk) 20:44, 15 June 2014 (UTC)
- I did added another citation to the article from the Minnesota Historical Society-thanks-RFD (talk) 21:30, 15 June 2014 (UTC)
Advice
[edit]Just read through the Wikipedia guidelines that I posted on your talk page. Take your time. Then go back to the Gideon Hollister Pond and see what can be expanded. Please do not take out citations or categories or this would be construed as vandalism. You may want to read how to put citations in articles, etc. Many thanks-RFD (talk) 21:48, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
Many thanks
[edit]Many thanks for editing the Gideon Hollister Pond article. The only major change was that I made was reinserting the citation from the Minnesota Legislators Past and Present about Gideon Pond's service in the Minnesota Territorial Legislature. Thank you again-RFD (talk) 15:17, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
