Jonathan Gray Wikipedia Review
Hello,
I am writing to inquire about why my recent submission was rejected. All my links are factual as well as the person I am writing about is notable. I included all references in the bottom of the page. Could you provide more insight into how I can edit this page to have it approved? I made a second attempt and resubmitted the page. I appreciate you taking the time with this page and all your help.
Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hello,
I wanted to check in to see the status of my 2nd round of reviews. It has been over a week since my last review. Thank you!
Lb524 (talk) 14:13, 4 June 2013 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but the AfC page was last edited by no one other than myself, and that was when I commented on it. The bulleted links I wanted converted into citations stay as they are, and I don't think I can accept the article as it currently is. smtchahaltalk 09:00, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
Articles for deletion/Salman Shah (actor)
I think you are not too lazy to read the article from a bangladeshi daily newspaper (The Daily Star (Bangladesh)) about salman shah here [[1]]. The artical that you are trying to delet is not Completely unsourced -see References. Samudrakula (talk) 17:33, 1 June 2013 (UTC)
- On an unrelated note, just click new section at the top to add a new discussion. -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 01:48, 2 June 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, the article does have citations now, but do you realise that at the time I marked it for deletion, all it had in the name of sources was a Facebook link? And you're wrong; I was lazy enough to not google the name to find a source at all; the reason I nominated that page for deletion was that either someone proves the actor to be notable (as my comment on the article's deletion discussion page suggests) by adding citations to reliable sources or the article gets deleted. Apparently someone has worked a lot on it, so I have withdrawn my nomination. smtchahaltalk 08:49, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
STiki
Hi there, I heard about STiki, and you told me that I require 1000 edits on Wikipedia (Article Space) to actually use it. This time STiki actually loaded fine for me, until I realized that I can request for permission on the STiki talk page. Do you suggest I request or wait till I reach 1000 article space edits? (I think I have 800 or so) Thanks. PrabashWhat? 02:24, 2 June 2013 (UTC)
- If you think you can reach 1000 soon, then don't bother. But if you think it will take a while to rack up another 200, then you might want to ask permission. But I'd suggest waiting for smtchahal to answer. -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 02:51, 2 June 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah Numbermaniac, I was actually considering that i'll just wait until I hit 2000 edits. Also another question; does STiki perform faster than Twinkle? Thanks PrabashWhat? 02:59, 2 June 2013 (UTC)
- 2000? Don't you mean 1000?
- Anyway...
- •Peeks at PBASH607's edit count…•
- You've made 826 edits t the article namespace, only 174 to go. Have you tried actually asking for permission for rollback right? And yes, STiki is definitely better than Twinkle. What is different is that STiki finds the vandalism for you. Twinkle only helps you undo it once you've already found it. -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 03:31, 2 June 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah i'll keep going on then, I asked for Rollback and I got rejected twice, because of reasons that have nothing to do with vandalism such as the accidental marking of a user page for CSD :D and content on my user page mocking vandals! geesh I'm presuming the admins just wanted to pick a bone on me. --PrabashWhat? 03:39, 2 June 2013 (UTC)
- Odd, I got through the first time. I have a suggestion. Maybe you want to use a real time recent changes script I found. The links are on my user page. You'll need to add a line or two to your common.js, which should enable it for you. I'll give further instructions if you are interested. -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 03:54, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

- PBASH, try using STiki even without the requirements. Have a look at Wikipedia:STiki/milestones. One user (June 2) has used it with only 297 edits to the article namespace, and no rollback right. He only has 944 edits in total. -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 07:13, 2 June 2013 (UTC)
- Strange, Numbermaniac I tried it but it still shows the message where I need requirements. I am assuming the user has special permissions given by the developer, or is an alternative account of an administrator. Anyways i'm getting closer to my 1000 mark, so why fret? :) Thanks! --PrabashWhat? 11:46, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

Yes, Matty.007 requested access and was approved. You should reach 1000 soon, PBASH. Keep up the good work! :D -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 22:33, 2 June 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you Numbermaniac! I am only 12 edits away from 1000 article space edits! Cheers PrabashWhat? 02:06, 3 June 2013 (UTC)

- PBASH607...
- What the heck did you do? You literally undid about 1007 edits on STiki in a day!!!! Argh! I'm still only on 235. :P -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 08:58, 4 June 2013 (UTC)

Reverted Edits
I am trying to update Colony Capital to the correct information. It kept getting reverted and now I am locked out. How do I update the page? Colony Capital (talk) 16:41, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
- I presume you use the IP address 207.119.146.13. I don't know if you were correcting information, but you were replacing verifiable information that has sources to support it with information that does not have them. We don't simply add information to Wikipedia articles just because a contributor 'knows' it. Please see Wikipedia:Verifiablity and Wikipedia:Identifying reliable sources. smtchahaltalk 17:05, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
- If, however, you feel that the information you added was indeed correct, please cite a verifiable reliable source to support it (see above-mentioned link to the Wikipedia policy on identifying reliable sources). See Help:Footnotes for help on citing sources. However, I would suggest you to discuss the matter on the article's talk page first, as it is quite likely that you might make controversial edits again. smtchahaltalk 17:12, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
workshare submission
hi there - learning some reviewing skills and looking at the workshare page - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Workshare I've checked and made some edits but it seems to pass muster as a company page - are you ok to review this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rjnicholson (talk • contribs) 17:25, 11 June 2013 (UTC)
- The AfC submission has improved a lot since I last saw it, I admit. I will review it in a few days (lest no one else does). smtchahaltalk 17:36, 11 June 2013 (UTC)

- Id be happy to :) -- (T) Numbermaniac (C) 03:59, 16 June 2013 (UTC)
- I'm glad someone could help you, because I don't know much coding (except for some very basic javascript) and surely don't have the faintest idea of how bots work on MediaWiki sites… smtchahaltalk 14:55, 16 June 2013 (UTC)
