The comment was meant to call people out who were editing the "feature table" for filesystems to include a column titled "murders your wife" for the ReiserFS file system. Since appearing in a slashdot.org comment a few days ago, people have been repeatedly re-editing this column back into the article. On the contrary I was trying stop the inclusion of joke about Hans Reisers' dead wife in the actual article. I was not making a "snide jab at orphans" but trying to bring home the reality of what this joke was based on for the tasteless people who continue to both insult the encyclopedic nature of this website, and just basic tastefulness. If my comments seemed excessively harsh, it was only to try to get people to think about what they were doing.
